One of the main goals for Oregon Active is staying active in our community. We believe that the only way to sustain our great way of life as Oregonians is to give something back.

All of us at Oregon Active have been very fortunate along the way to have had the opportunity to share and enjoy so many wonderful experiences with so many great people. Since our inception we have been devoted to making a difference in our community and giving back where and when we can. We have created a group where having fun can make a difference. Where enjoying your friends and the outdoors can not only change your life for the better but can help better the lives of others as well.

We donate the proceeds of our adventures to local and sustainable causes. Our major focus is providing outdoor adventures to young survivors of cancer at no cost to them. Enabling us all to share meaningful memories. We have found there is no limit to what laughter and sharing group adventures can do for the human spirit. We feel so very blessed to experience the beauty and excitment of this region. We feel even more so to be able to share it all with our friends. Giving back to the community is giving back to ourselves. We look forward to all of the good times to come..................

In hopes of growing the Oregon Active Foundation, we have teamed up with Cancer Care Resources and OHSU. Oregon Active has been privileged to take the "Young Survivors Group" on some of our adventures. After a successful day of glider rides and a fun-filled day of horseback riding, it didn’t take long to realize the benefits of "Giving Back"

We would love to continue these trips and providing them "free of charge" to the survivors. We can all see the true benefits and positive impacts these trips have...how sometimes just a little laughter, a day of smiles, and a sense of adventure can go a long way to improving one's health and spirits...Ourselves included..

So how can you give back? How can you make a difference? It's simple...You can pledge any amount you wish, whether it's $5.00 or the cost of the entire trip, it all helps and is all greatly appreciated. Once we have raised enough money for the trip the date will be set. If you sponsor 50% or more of the trip, you can come along and see first hand how much fun these adventures are..for everybody..We are working hard to coordinate these trips so please stay tuned or email us at info@oregonactive.com for more information on how you can help.

Horseback Riding - The beautiful Flying M Ranch from Horseback...We spent the afternoon on well-mannered, gentle spirited horses in a pristine area known as Yamhill County. These trails offer exciting views of waterfalls, astounding rock formations, forest trails, and breathtaking mountain views.
